Group therapy provides a safe environment for multiple individuals who are dealing with a similar life experience to share their personal experience, give and receive support, increase connections and intimacy with others, and explore interpersonal patterns.
Adulthood can be challenging: work, relationships, parents, money, friends, drinking, bosses, politics, finding something to be passionate about. We are particularly prone to societal pressures around balancing career and family goals, body image, and parental expectations. How do we find freedom and joy in the midst of all this?
This weekly therapy group will address these concerns and focus on helping you struggle less with the thoughts, emotions, sensations, and memories you don't want so as to help you better move towards what's important to you in life. Sometimes our own personal histories can make things more difficult for us. In this work together, we will always be focusing on your hopes, goals, or possible outcomes important for you in life. Through our work, I hope that you will gradually learn a new way to relate with the things you've long struggled against. Ongoing, with a six-month initial commitment, the group will explore:
